If you are using aftermarket headlight ears this is fill the hole on the left side of the headlight bucket on 74-84 BMW Boxers.

You have all the hardware you need on the stock ignition switch. One thin washer & nut go on the plug & 2 thin washers, one thin nut & one chrome nut are used for the ignition switch.
